Africa Means Business is a convergence of entrepreneurs, business owners, investors and
governments that are eager to transform and exploit Africa’s economic potential for the
benefit of Africa. It’s a meeting that happens once a year (every March) in a selected city that
is chosen from bidding countries.
The purpose of Africa Means Business is to catalyze Africa’s economic engine and to
fast-track the utilization of the massive resources available in Africa. There is no more
reason why Africa must remain to be a continent of poor people.
Through the founder, Lan-x Africa Limited, AMB continues to profile all the resources available
in the continent and through the annual conferences, mobilize existing and potential
entrepreneurs to establish structured and meaningful ways to harness the resources.
