Africa Means Business is a convergence of entrepreneurs, business owners, investors and governments that are eager to transform and exploit Africa’s economic potential for the benefit of Africa. It’s a meeting that happens once a year (every March) in a selected city that is chosen from bidding countries. The purpose of Africa Means Business is to catalyze Africa’s economic engine and to fast-track the utilization of the massive resources available in Africa. There is no more reason why Africa must remain to be a continent of poor people.
Through the founder, Lan-X Africa Limited, AMB continues to profile all the resources available in the continent and through the annual conferences, mobilize existing and potential entrepreneurs to establish structured and meaningful ways to harness the resources. AMB will work with chosen Financial Institutions who are keen on Africa’s wealth journey to support entrepreneurs who have begun or are willing to roll their sleeves for the good of Africa.
We believe this is the Kairos moment for Africa and Africa’s resources should and must be exploited by Africans for the good of Africa and the world. The March 2025 conference to be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Center in Nairobi will kickstart the already ongoing process of Africa’s transformation.
